Brother John S.L Morrison (jnr) will follow his heart when he treks to the 'lost' Inca city of Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation this year.

Brother John, a Lodge Craigielea member, got involved in the trip with a friend who recently lost his wife at an early age after losing her battle with a heart condition.

The week long trek in May promises to be the experience of a lifetime for John. He has already started training and is confident he will be ready to meet the challenge only a few months away.

John is trying to raise as much money as possible for the BHF's fight against heart and circulatory disease which is still more likely to kill you than any other serious illness, including cancer.
